Hi! My name is Yacouba. I go to a Christian School in Burkina Faso where I learned about Jesus. My father is Muslim and does not want me to be a Christian, so when he finds out that I went to Sunday School, he beats me. But I am still determined to follow Jesus.

What is a Muslim?

Half of the people in Burkina Faso are Muslims. Muslims do not believe that Jesus died on the Cross or that He came back to life. They do not believe that Jesus is the Son of God. Muslims go to a mosque instead of a church.

What is a Christian?

The Bible tells us that all of us have sinned. Maybe we have taken something that did not belong to us, or hurt someone, or been disrespectful to our parents. All of these things are sins.

God is so holy and wonderful that He cannot let anyone into heaven who has sinned. That is all of us, but God loves us so much that He sent Jesus to die on the Cross to take the punishment for our sins. If you believe that and want to become a Christian and go to heaven someday, here is what you need to do:
