The Churches

Since Dr. Moussa Coulibaly finished in Ph.D. at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in the year 2000, he has ministered in the city of Bobo-Dioulasso and the surrounding countryside. Most of these people are Muslim as was Dr. Coulibaly and his wife before they came to Christ. At first he began inviting people to come to his house to hear about Jesus. The first year or two were not easy and there was little response, but little by little people felt the love of Jesus and trusted in Him. The little fellowship outgrew the Coulibaly’s home and spread to other homes. Eventually 15 churches were planted, some as small as a dozen or two people, others as large as 100 or more. Over 400 people have accepted Christ as Savior, mostly converts from Islam.

Dr. Coulibaly has monthly week-end long seminars to train new believers and develop Christian leaders. He also encourages believers to take classes at Elim Institute. We would appreciate your prayers for the churches and for their leaders.
