Samuel's Story

     Samuel lives in Burkina Faso, which is one of the poorest countries in the world. Only 29% of the population of Burkina Faso can read and write, so Samuel is very blessed to be getting an education and learning about the love of Jesus for him.
     Samuel's father does odd jobs and his mother is a housewife. He has three sisters and one brother. The family is evangelical and lives on squatters land.
     Samuel likes reading and wants to be a school teacher when he grows up. His favorite game is soccer and he likes yams.
     He is currently in second grade and his birthday is May 6, 2008.
