Then Dr. Moussa met an American Christian businessman who miraculously shared this same vision. So a large donation was made to start this ministry. And after him a few other Christians in business also contributed. This is the way this works. A woman applies for a small loan—perhaps to buy some goats to raise or even something so small as a little bit of salt and pepper to sell. Most of the business projects are done by individuals, but some are done as a group. They are usually given about nine months to repay their loans, along with interest. The women meet once a month to discuss business and for a Bible study. At first it was only a few women from a few churches. Now the program has expanded to include 500 women and many of them are not Christians, but this is a wonderful way to share the Gospel with neighbors.
