Solange's Story

     Solange lives in Burkina Faso, which is one of the poorest countries in the world. Only 29% of the population of Burkina Faso can read and write, so Solange is very blessed to be getting an education and learning about the love of Jesus for her.
     Solange's father is occasionally a security guard and her mother takes care of their two children. The family is Catholic and lives in a rented house.
     Solange's favorite subject is math and she wants to be a police officer when she grows up. Her favorite food is rice.
     She is currently in second grade and her birthday is January 21, 2009.
